My Story Begins at Sea…
But It Doesn’t End There.

For almost three decades, the sea has been my workplace and my second home. I’ve been fortunate to build a rewarding career in the maritime industry, working my way to Chief Engineer on luxury yachts.

I’ve visited places most people only dream of, solved complex engineering challenges, and worked alongside incredible people from around the world.

It’s a career I’m genuinely proud of, but life at sea also comes with sacrifices. Long contracts, time away from family. Missing birthdays, anniversaries and everyday moments that can never be repeated.

Every voyage reminds me how fortunate I am to have this career. But every voyage also reminds me that someone waits for me at home.

One day I realized something that changed the way I looked at my future. The goal isn’t simply to earn a good living. The goal is to build enough freedom that one day, work becomes a choice, not a necessity.

Why Tomek Beyond Sea Exists?

Life has taught me that even successful careers don’t guarantee certainty.
Over the years I’ve experienced both incredible highs and difficult personal challenges. Like many people, I’ve had to rebuild parts of my life and start again.
Those experiences changed the way I think about money, security and what truly matters.


Today I’m happily remarried and preparing to welcome our daughter into the world. That new chapter has given me an even stronger reason to build a future with more freedom, more flexibility and more time for the people I love.


That’s why Tomek Beyond Sea exists, not because I have all the answers, but because I believe it’s never too late to start building a life where work supports your life, instead of becoming your whole life.
